It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Heitzhaus (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John H. Heitzhaus to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia A. (Volkenner); his children, Mary Lombardo (Salvatore), Jeanne Garvin (Joseph), Paul (Cheryl), Nancy Zippier (Joseph), Lora (late Timothy), John (Mary), Carole Reilly and Margaret Martello (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Vincent Lombardo, Tim (Jess), John Garvin (Rebecca), Colleen Browne (Jack), Paul, Brandon Heitzhaus (Taylor), Caitlyn Rankie (Luke), Matthew Zippier (Alexa), Katherine Murphy (Christopher), Sara DeWald (Anthony), Brittany Nguyen (David), Michael Johnson, Lauren Fiust-Klink (Ryan), Emily, Andrew, Christopher Heitzhaus, Clare (Matthew), Erin, Megan Reilly, Lindsey (Kevin) and Jack Martello.

Flowers gratefully declined, donations in Jack's name may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc. Jack worked for Niagara Mohawk and retired after 40 years.
