She was predeceased by: her parents, Thornton Echols and Pearl Griffin-Richardson; and her husband William D. Bennett. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Bennett-Brown (Jason) and Craig H. Bennett, MD (Shelley); and her grandchildren, Chrystina, William and Walter.
