She is survived by: her husband James Mathews; her children, Robin Wheeler-Dabate (Enrico) and Wendy Berger (Kurt); her grandchildren, Danielle and Enrico; her great grandchild Sophia; and her sister Geraldine Cardarella (Paul). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
