She is survived by: her children, James McCray (Monique) and Shannon Sims; her grandchildren, Miles, Morgan, Maya, Marley, Marshall, Desmond, Diamond, Shaolin and Pe'Shence; her siblings, Jimmy May (late Carmen), Hazel Hartman (Cleveland), Edward May and Willie Frails; and her niece Robyn Prewitt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
