She was predeceased by: her parents, Gwidon Klimkowski and Sophie Klimkowski (Olczak); her husband Joseph M. Brestensky; her son Daniel Brestensky; and her grandchildren, Chad and Danielle Brestensky.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael A. Brestensky (Sharon) of Buffalo Twp and Mark Brestensky (Dawn) of Leechburg; her grandchildren, Carie Mahan (Trevor) and Michael Brestensky (Gina); her great grandchildren, Nora, Aron Mahan, Damian, Karis and Jaylee Brestensky; and her siblings, Helen Tarazewski (Theodore), Mary Polisano (Thomas), Jennie Bubash (Frank), Stella Hamilton (James), Alfred Klimkowski, Lawrence Klimkowski and Frank "Dyke" Klimkowski (Jean). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
