She is survived by: her brothers, David Ball (Donna) and Larry Ball (Celeste); her children, Greg Wilmoth (Cindy), Diane Banks and Sue Henderson; her grandchildren, James Fisher, Jessica Henderson, Stephanie Snyder (Chris) and Steven Henderson; her great grandchildren, Austin Olsen, Jayden, Cali, Julia, Jacob, Kadin and Kira; and her great great grandchildren, Camron, Katie and Jaylen.
One of her proudest and best-known works being ESSAYS: ON LIVING WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE: THE FIRST TWELVE MONTHS published in 2010, detailing her first year after her diagnosis and over a decade of caring for her mother with the same disease.
