He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ricci and Agnes Ricci. He is survived by: his sister Deborah C. Woeppel (Robert); and his nephews, Andrew (Tamera) and Michael (Susan).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph University Parish (3269 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14214).
During his 12-year tenure as President, Dr. Ricci was instrumental in the establishment of several key programs, including a Labor Studies Program, a Community Services Department, a Human Resources Department, and the ECC Foundation.
