She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; her parents, J. B. Caruthers and Katherine Caruthers; and her siblings, Billye Jean Gray, Katherine Rucker (late Bernard) and James Caruthers (Mary).

She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Judy) and James Francis; her grandchildren, Michael (Kimberly), Daniel (Schuyler), Matthew (Cassie Hamsher), Ethan and Jordan Francis; her great grandchildren, Hudson and Haylen Francis; and her siblings, Peggy Ann Schoenhals (late Kenneth) and Donnie Caruthers (Sandy).
