She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Roy Nelson and Virginia Eleanor Dunshie Nelson; her husband Ralph L. Steele; her close friend Robert D. Morgan; her sisters, Marilyn Taylor and Janet Nelson; and her children-in-law, Dennis Young and Alice Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Kristine Young of Belmont, Frederick Perkins of Salamanca and Roderick Perkins (Patti) of Franklinville; and her siblings, Carol Hanes (Paul) of Webster, FL, Loel Nelson (Teri) of Bristol, CT and Kathi Nelson of Gaston, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
