We announce the death of Marcella H. (Schattner) Herkey (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 100. Marcella will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband LeRoy; and her siblings, Betty Dusel (late Chuck), Albert Schattner Sr. (late Dolores), Joan Arber (Gordon) and Rose Wilk (late Henry).
She is survived by: her son Kenneth (Barbara); her grandchildren, Chris (Dawn) and Justin (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Nick (Lisa), Dakota (Meagan Dybalski), Jacob (Abbey Miller), Kira (Dustin Russ), Zachary (Katie Langer) and Sara (Josiah Patterson); and her great great grandchildren, Landon, Tanner, Autumn and Wyatt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
