She was predeceased by: her parents, Onnie Powell and Rebecca Powell; her daughter Rebecca "Heather" Powell; and her siblings, Joyce Noble, Gloria Scott, Ernest Powell and Bishop Raymond Powell, Sr..

She is survived by: her sister Constance Powell; and her son Joshua E. Powell. She is also survived by relatives, nieces, nephews, dear friends.
