In loving memory of Mary Ellen Coughlin of Buffalo, New York, who departed this world on August 28, 2025 at the age of 88. Mary Ellen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Coughlin, Sr.; and her sister Marta Hart (late George). She is survived by: her children, Annmarie Coughlin, Jim Coughlin, Jr. (Lisa), Ellen Zimmerman (Ron), Molly Coughlin and John Coughlin; her grandchildren, Shauna, Brendan, Kate, Matthew, Riley, Griffin and Colin; and her sister Ann Smith (late Charles). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Ellen's name to Hospice Buffalo.
