Mary Ritchey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 94, Mary Ritchey (Buffalo, New York) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ritchey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband George A. Ritchey; her daughter Eileen Ritchey; and her siblings, John, Francis and Thomas McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Susan Landgraf), John (Karen), Kathleen Coulter (Charles), Michael and Colleen Hankinson (Paul); and her grandchildren, Megan, Sara Ritchey, Emily, Daniel Ritchey, Abigail, Ella, Nathan Hankinson, Clare and Oliva Ritchey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. (911 Englewood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14223). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Shrine of St. John Neumann Chapel (1085 Englewood Ave, Tonawanda, NY 14223).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Patricia Allen Fund C/O Oishei Children's Hospital, Buffalo, NY or the Erie County S.P.C.A..
