Michael D. Wirth Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael D. Wirth of Buffalo, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wirth and Lucille Wirth. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Wirth; his children, Kathryn Wirth, Kelly Friedman (Benjamin) and Christopher Wirth (Stacy); his grandchildren, Samuel, Luke, Nora, Ryan and Molly; his siblings, Robert Wirth (June), Kathleen Wass (Kenneth), Lawrence Wirth (Peggy) and Ann Halter (Gary); and his friend John Busch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. - Blasdell (3450 South Park Ave, Buffalo, NY 14219). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Charity Parish - St. Ambrose (260 Okell St, Buffalo, NY 14220). An entombment was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (2900 South Park Ave, Lackawanna, NY 14218).
