He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli and Martha; and his brothers, Ben and Dan Hostetler. He is survived by: his wife Clara A. Hostetler (Troyer); his children, Emma M. Shetler, Ella M. Hershberger, David M. Hostetler and John M. Hostetler; and his siblings, Amanda Yoder, Linda Troyer, Emma Yoder, Sam, Eli, Emmanuel and John Hostetler. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 9:00 AM.
