It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Hess (Buffalo, New York), born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Payson and Marian Payson (Atkinson); and her daughter Sharon Howard (Joe). She is survived by: her children, Linda Flessel (late Alfred), Gary (Joan) and Richard (Monica); her grandchildren, Kimberly Mahr (Douglas), Darryl Fox (April), Jeremy Howard (Catherine), Julia Woodward (Robert), Kyle Hess (Jessica), Lindsey Kreitsek (William), Garret and Allison Hess (Stephen); her nephew Russel Hess (Cheryl); and her nieces, Susan Bloomfield (Roger) and Sally Gower (Robert).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice in Lockport or Christ United Methodist Church in Snyder.
