He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Egla Moretti and Orlando Moretti (Lindy); his siblings, Anne M. Moretti, David J. Moretti and Linda Dersam (Joseph); his nieces and nephews, Arthur Moretti (Mafe), Jenna Goszewski (Gregory) and Brinley Moretti (Justin); his great-nephews, Everett, Dylan and Nathaniel; and his cousin Ric. He was also cherished by extended family including several cousins.
Memorials may be made to the University at Buffalo's Department of Geology & Earth Sciences with priority given to field research, or to the Penn Dixie Fossil Park and Nature Preserve in Hamburg, New York.
