As we bid Paul farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Paul is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Homer (Szely); his children, Katharine Bartelo (Joseph), Christine Homer and Paul Homer (Melinda Carpenter); his grandsons, Joseph and Nicholas Bartelo; and his daughters, Lucy and Kathryn Homer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites everyone to donate to the Paul R and Kathryn M Homer Endowed Music Scholarship at Buffalo State University and designate the fund.
