Peter M. Filim Obituary
We announce the death of Peter M. Filim (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 74. Peter will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Filim and Bronislaus Filim; his brother Michael D. Filim; and his sister-in-law Kathy Filim (Charles Lambert). He is survived by: his nephew Michael E. Filim; his nieces, Lori Mochol (Dennis), Alicia Killian, Jennifer Enderton and Victoria Filim; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayley Filim, Zachery Mochol and Gabriel Mochol.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home (2400 William St, Cheektowaga, NY 14206). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Parish (389 Peckham St, Buffalo, NY 14206).
His years of service helped preserve the stories, places, and traditions that make Buffalo unique, leaving a lasting contribution to the community he so deeply cherished.
