He is survived by: his significant other Rena Massis; his cousins, Tim Burmeier (Claire) and Greta Lichterfeld; his nephews, Jeff Berlet (Stephenie) and Paul Berlet (Jill); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Paulie Berlet, Peter Berlet (Alicia), Allison Berlet and Samantha Mercer (Simon).
A wake will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) (885 Niagara Fls Blvd, Amherst, NY 14226). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church (885 Sweet Home Rd, Amherst, NY 14226).
