He was predeceased by: his sister Antoinette Kasprzak (Dennis). He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, Anita Fischer (Robert) and John Gucwa (William Majuk); his granddaughter Sarah Fischer; his great grandchild Kelsey Trigg; and his brothers, Robert (Jean) and Joseph Gucwa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations in Richard's memory to the Assumption Church Preservation Fund are preferred.
