He is survived by: his children, Donald W. Hilliard (Teresa) and Diane M. Doktor (Kevin); his stepdaughters, Dawn Kellogg and Lori Alberts (Mark); his sister Delores Browning (late Robert); his grandchildren, Patrick, Nichole, Megan, Mary, Lindsay, Matthew, James and Jacquie; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Payton, Emmett, Asher, Cameron, Justice and Jerzi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
