He is survived by: his children, Robin Smith (Jim) and Richard Kessler; his grandchildren, Melinda Nebrich (Josh) and Matthew Smith (Adara); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Colton and Wyatt Nebrich; and his brother Albert "Skip" Kessler (Sandra). He is also survived by 8 siblings; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
