He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Barnes and Ida Barnes (Kiesche); and his siblings, Raymond Barnes (Virginia) and Dorothy Rohrmiller (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Grace Barnes; his children, James Barnes (Monica) and Sarah Barnes-Ryan (Kevin); his grandchildren, Michael, Anna and Hazel; his brother-in-law Robert Martin; and also Eleanor Shutter (late Robert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
