He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Swanson and Blanche Swanson; and his mother-in-law Elizabeth Simonian. He is survived by: his spouse Patrice M. Swanson; his children, Heather Harper (Robert) and Robert R Swanson II (Gina); his grandchildren, Robert R. Swanson III (Amanda), Carissa Kane, Leah Harper and Olivia Swanson; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Vanessa, MacKenzie and Jack; his father-in-law Gregory; his siblings, Linda Stadler (Rick) and William Swanson (Peggy); and his sister-in-law May (late Russell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
