He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Jeanette Marie Hereth; his children, Kevin Hereth, Brian Hereth (Darlene) and Stacy Hopkins (Jason); his grandchildren, Ashley Toler, Joshua Hereth and Jackson Hopkins; his great grandchildren, Everett and Poppy Toler; and his siblings, Jack Hereth, Patti King and Nancy Phillips.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Perna Funeral Home (8630 Transit Rd, East Amherst, NY 14051). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
