He was predeceased by: his father John Windover; and his sister Jacqueline Windover. He is survived by: his mother Joan Windover; his spouse Chelsie Windover; his son Evan Windover; his brother Eric Windover (Marie); his mother-in-law MaryBeth Cunningham-Zanghi; his sister-in-law Amanda Fusci (Jen); and his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Jonathan and Elyse Windover. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sieck, Mast & Leslie Funeral Home (250 Orchard Park Rd, Buffalo, NY 14224). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Scott's name to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation for melanoma research, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240; or to Hockey Fights Cancer through the V Foundation; links for each have been provided under charity donations.
