Soowon Chang Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Soowon Chang of Buffalo, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Soowon farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Soowon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Julia Ahlet, Eugene Chang and Esther Rusnac (Matthew); her grandchildren, Asher Ahlet, Avery Ahlet, Johann Rusnac and Augustine Rusnac; and her parents, Boksik Kim and Bongsoo Kim.
