Susan Pidanick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Pidanick of Buffalo, New York, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Sworen and Marie Sworen (Koches); and her sister Joyce Beirsback. She is survived by: her husband Charles W. Pidanick; her children, Jennifer Beisswenger of Fishkill, Kimberly Schuler (Michael) of Buffalo, Sara Qaqish (Qais) of Hyde Park, Jeffrey Pidanick (Katherine) of Poughkeepsie and Andrew Pidanick (Adrienne) of Poughkeepsie; her grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel, Mikaela, Abigayle, Joseph, Alexander, Allison, Ava, Caitlyn, Patricia, Charles, Jakub, Olivia, AnnMarie and Charlotte; and her sisters, Marie (Richard Hamm) and Nancy (Nelson Logal). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends, as well as friends of her children.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. ~ Van Wyck Room (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Columba Church (835 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Denis Cemetery (604 Beekman Rd, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533).
Donations may be made in memory of Sue to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
