He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bernice Balliett (Twist); his daughters, Jo-Ann Michael (Larry) and Suzanne Schebell; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Crina), Erica, Zachary, David and Eric (Lisa); and his close friends, Kirby and Sue Snyder.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Erie County.

“Uncle Ted was my favorite uncle. When he visited, it was always a fun time. He would take us (my sisters and I) for a ride in the car, and we would try to get him lost since he lived in Buffalo and we lived in North Tonawanda. We thought we could fool him. Little did we know he was from Lockport and knew the whole area better than we did. He was the fun uncle, always joking and kidding. We loved him.”
