He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Mellan and Christine Mellan (Ferguson); his wife Roslyn Mellan (Bodekor); and his brothers, William J. Mellan (Mary Jean), Andrew P. Mellan and Hubert Mellan (Betty Jane).
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Woodward (Edwin), Christine Cook III (Louis), Dale Mellan (Cheryl) and Francis Mellan (Nancy). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Thomas's memory be made to Harris Hill Assisted Living, 2699 Wehrle Drive, Williamsville, NY 14221.
