Lewis (Buffalo, New York), born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his friends, Gilbert Love and Jackie Koons; his mother Beatrice; his siblings, Elijah and Lillian Marie; and his siblings-in-law, Walter Williams Jr., Earl Smith Sr. and Marva Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Curtis Crawford; his nephews, Elijah Mallory, DeMario Mallory, Ramsey Lewis, Lamar Lewis, William Nate Smith, Curtis Reed and Stylin Williams; his niece Beatrice Hager; his daughter Tracie-Michele Pompey (Lovell Sr.); his grandson Lovell "Peanut" Pompey Jr.; his adoptive son Eric Bolden; his close friends, Bonnie Copeland and Gillie Richardson; and his cousins, Aiesha Randle, Arianna McDonald, Ariel, Azaya "Cookie" Jenkins of Buffalo and Evelyn Mason of Memphis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and friends.
