He was predeceased by: his grandchild Aubrey Lenhardt; his parents, William Lenhardt and Matilda Lenhardt Sr.; and his siblings, Gloria Boneberg (late Edward) and Shirley Lenhardt.
He is survived by: his wife Sonia Lenhardt; his children, Vickie Michel (Erwin), Renè Lenhardt (Tracy Cote) and Randy Lenhardt; and his grandchildren, Renè Lenhardt II, Philip Lenhardt, Joseph Lenhardt, Dominic Stoltzfus, Erick Michel, Christopher Michel, Ethan Lenhardt and Kara Austin Lenhardt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
