We bid farewell to William A. Slover of Burnt Hills, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 17, 2025 at the age of 66. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Slover Sr. and Laura Larue Slover; his daughter Mary Jane Slover; and his siblings, Eileen, Alfred Slover, Jr., Autumn and Angel Slover.
He is survived by: his children, David Slover, Bill August and Heather Slover; and also Mary Slover. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Glenville, NY 12302).
