He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Raymond MacNeil and Ruth Mary MacNeil (Stone); his wife Marjorie MacNeil (Button); his child Robin Kalinowski (MacNeil); his children-in-law, CJ, Howard "Sly" MacNeil, Tracy Churchill (Button), David and Meaghan; his grandchildren, Breanna, Kaitlyn, Jason, Amanda, Lydia, Mary Alice, Catherine and Alexander; his great grandchildren, Addison, Jaiden, Bryson and Emmett; and his nephew Kassie.
