He was predeceased by: his parents, Grove Scribner and Rena Scribner (Scott); his sister Audrey Putnam; and his brothers-in-law, Wilbur Putnam and Gary Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Karen (John Nevins), Lance (Heather Scribner), Celia Scribner and Brendan (Deborah Scribner); his grandchildren, Thomas Nevins, Riley Nevins (Corrin), Shalyn Scribner (Devin March), Kristine (Jeremy Duffney), Breana Buckley (Koby), Bryan Scribner (Kailyn Ridenour), Brittany Wescott (Tyler Hicks), Emily, Ethan and Charlie Scribner; and his sister Diane Garrett (Scott). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home (73 W Main St, Cambridge, NY 12816). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
