She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Newcomb and Candace Newcomb (Wood); her husbands, James S. Cassada and Frederick H. Dunham; her stepson David Dunham; her grandson Craig DeRue; and her brother Burton Newcomb.

She is survived by: her children, Douglas Cassada of Batavia and Kay Clark (Gary) of Fairhaven; her stepchildren, Anita Hinkson of Byron and Allen Dunham (Maria Elena) of Texas; her stepdaughter-in-law Judy Dunham of New Hampshire; and her sister-in-law Patricia Newcomb of Wisconsin. She is also survived by Nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads House, 11 Liberty Street, Batavia, New York 14020 in memory of Gladys.
