He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Butler and Marjorie Butler (Gardner); his sister Betty Ward; and his nephew Chuck Ward. He is survived by: his son John Butler (Kendra) of Kendall; his brother David Butler; his grandchildren, Angelic, Cheyanna, John and Alona; his niece Marjorie Richmond (Mike); and his nephews, Jake and Lyle Butler. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
