He is survived by: his children, Ellen Hendershott (Matt) and Eric; his grandsons, Jeremy, Gavin and Oliver; his siblings, Andreas (Ruby) and Hanni (Bouya Diakhate); and his siblings-in-law, Anne Foster (Michael) and Richard Gleason (Susan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
