He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. LaGoy and Lucy LaGoy (Dubrey); his great grandchild Elizabeth LaGoy; and his sister Evelyn Kerr. He is survived by: his wife Annette LaGoy (Burdo) of Ann's Church; his sons, Fred H. LaGoy (Nance) and Robert LaGoy (Barbara); his grandchildren, Nicholas LaGoy (Kyli), Danielle LaGoy, Robert LaGoy Jr., Ryan, Heather and Brandon; his great grandchild Cash LaGoy; and his sisters, Linda Swanson (Glenn) and Louise Mazuchowski.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (29 Broad St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (179 Smith St, Dannemora, NY 12929).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Fred's memory to Hospice of the North Country.
