He is survived by: his wife Gayle Birk; his daughters, Mary Jane Mokszycki (David) and Debra Bogins (James); his grandchildren, Brandon Ritter, Lauren Ritter, Preston Ritter (Keeley), Daniel Mokszycki (Mallory) and Sarah Moolick (Michael); and his siblings, Edna Higgins, Wayne Birk, Dorothy Campbell and Alma Veverka. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
