We are sad to announce that, on February 25, 2026, at the age of 63, Joseph E. Vriale of Cairo, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Carmine J. "Sonny" Vriale; his grandparents, Ernest, Emily Briggs (O'Brien), Lawrence J. and Antoinette Vriale; his sister Lisa Marie Corratti; and his uncle Edward M..
He is survived by: his mother Patricia M. Briggs (William Lamb) of East Greenbush, NY; his wife Barbara DuVal-Vriale; and his son Craig Jeffrey Gottenberg (PattiAnn). He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and many cousins.
That being said, in lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations to the local food pantry.
