She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Hermann and Anna Hermann (Schwarz); her husband Clarence J. Amo; her son-in-law William Patterson; her siblings, John Hermann, William Hermann, Albert Hermann (Elizabeth) and Cecilia; and her brother-in-law Martin Reff.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda H. Romeo (Frank), Anna M. Patterson, Sharon A. Nebbia (Michael) and Janet M. Bissi (Matthew); her siblings, Robert Herman (Patricia), Carl Herman (Lois), Betty Reff and Mary; and her sisters-in-law, Clara Hermann, Mary Hermann and Susanne Augsberg, MD. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to The Sisters of St. Joseph, 866 Arsenal St. or Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., both in Watertown, NY 13601.
