It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John R. Venter (Callicoon, New York), who passed away on December 24, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John R. Venter to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Venter and Madlyn Venter; and his siblings, George, Robert Venter and Audrey Jensen.

He is survived by : his children, Susan (Ernie Tree) of Port Jervis, NY, George (Jo) of Middletown, NY, John R. Jr. of Asheville and Catherine Stueber of Thousand Oaks, California. He is also survived by grandchildren; 27 cherished Great Grandchildren; several brother and sister in laws; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County.
