He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio DiBenedetto and Celia DiBenedetto. He is survived by: his sisters, Doreen D'Anna and Annette Cavaliere; his children, Donna Colonna and Robert DiBenedetto; his grandchildren, Joseph Greenstein, Allie Steele, Ashley Selman and John Murphy; and his great grandchild Jett Steele.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beney Funeral Home (79 Berry Hill Rd, Syosset, NY 11791). A burial was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933). The military honors was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the same location.
