It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon J Reed (Calverton, New York), who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Bowling and Dorothy Bowling; her siblings, Michael Bowling, John Bowling and Nancy Croswell; her husband David E. Reed; her son Kevin Reed; and her granddaughter Laura Basso.
She is survived by: her children, David Reed (Jae), Eileen Reed, Steven Reed and Jennifer Pavlica (John); her grandsons, Joshua, Joseph and Jacob; and her sister Maureen Herring.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc. (98-07 Ascan Ave, Forest Hills, NY 11375). A prayer will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
