She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wayne and Kay Lamarr Jay (Thompson). She is survived by: her husband Peter A. Thomson; her daughter Emily; her son-in-law Steven Durette of Maricopa, AZ; her grandchildren, Caleb, Josephine, Tyler and Anastasia Durette; her siblings, Terry Jay (Lori) of Oxnard, CA and Roberta Dean (Bill) of Eugene, OR; and her siblings' children, Leann Perlmutter (David), Dennis Jay, Terry Jay, Jr., Robert Finn (Tiffany) and Nadine Smith (Wendell).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (111 Academy St, Greenwich, NY 12834).
