It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Laura Schiele of Cambridge, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Meyer Baer and Agnes Friedman Baer; her husband Herbert; her brothers, Thomas and Edward; and her daughter-in-law Christine Griffin.
She is survived by: her sister Jean O'Gorman of Santa Fe, NM; and her children, Tom Schiele (Kit) of Jaffrey, NH, Ted Schiele of West Groton, NY, Maggie Sullivan (Dave) of Brattleboro, Vt., Jonathan Schiele (Christina Nypaver) of Richmond, Calif, Edwin Schiele (Debby Jaffe) of Cambridge, NY. and Kate Duffield (Michael) of Boxford, Mass.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
