He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carlton and Lillian Carlton (Wilson); and his sisters, Debi Carlton, Pam Carlton and Donna Arendt.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Carlton of Jackson and Penny Carlton of Maine; his nephew Gary J. Carlton (Courtney) of Jackson; and his nieces, Tara Lashway (Ron) of Massachusetts, Trina Carlton (Dave) of Ballston Spa and Heather Carlton of Putnam Station.
