He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Dillard (Beth); his son Jackson Henry Dillard of Cambridge; his brothers, Stephen H. Dillard (Teresa) of Sumter, SC and John D. Dillard of Sumter, SC; his nephew Brent Dillard of Sumter, SC; and his uncle Thomas McDowell. He is also survived by his wife's side, Joe had 18 nieces and nephews, 12 great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad or to the Cambridge Volunteer Fire Department.
